Business Case Author/4-6 month temporary contract

Brighton

£27.93 per hour/Hybrid

Full time 37.5 hours per week


You will be required to Author a Full Business Case in line with the Treasury Green Book Standards/using a five-case model.

The standard Business Case consists of strategic case, economic appraisal, commercial case, financial case, risks, management case, conclusions and recommendations


You will work closely with the NHS Sussex Network Programme Management Team in coordinating and meeting agreed timescales and ensure full governance processes are completed across the Network and Trusts.

You will need to utilise technical and clinical expertise from across the Network, at a range of seniority levels:


Key area focus:

  • Day to day responsibility for developing and completing an FBC
  • Responsible for ensuring FBC is agreed through Network and Trust governance, supported by the Network Programme Management Team
  • Ensuring that the FBC includes accurate and detailed review of the technical and operational requirements of all members of the Network
  • Responsible for understanding the interdependencies with other workstreams across the Network and creating agreed models and options that meet the Network needs as a whole
  • Gaining clinical support for the FBC from both the Pathology Network and its service users
  • Liaising with Trust finance teams to agree financial modelling at a Network level then split into organisations
  • Be the responsible point of contact for all matters relating to the FBC
