    We are delighted to be supporting a fast-growing SME with the recruitment of a Qualified Finance Manager in a newly created role.

    Reporting to the directors of this entrepreneurial, high growth business this role will lead to FD in the future and therefore a positive, proactive and forward-thinking Accountant is required.

    Main Duties Collaborating with the Directors to improve efficiency across the finance function.
    Financial report analysis, providing advice and presenting to the Directors and CEO.
    Management of all financial accounting processes.
    Production of monthly/annual management accounts, P&L reports.
    Posting all journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
    Production and submission of VAT returns.
    Cashflow reporting/working capital monitoring.
    Liaising with external auditors and other professional service providers.
    Annual statutory accounts/tax returns.
    Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls and policies.
    Overseeing the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
    Monthly Payroll
    Bank reconciliations


    About you:

    We are looking for an experienced, professional, and focused Finance Manager to oversee the finance operations, taking a hands-on approach in all aspects of the role.

    Candidates should be fully qualified (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA) with a background in financial management and controls ideally within a SME environment.

    You will be hands on, analytical in your approach, highly organised, and detail orientated, with the ability to multi-task in this exciting progressive role.

    Strong negotiation, communication and excellent management skills are also required, and experience of systems implementation / change would be an advantage.
