Description

All consultants provide general paediatric services. This appointment looks for applicants with special interest in cardiology, epilepsy or respiratory disease.

Supporting responsibilities (1.0 core PA) *Participation in teaching and training of junior staff and those in other medical disciplines, nursing and support staff as appropriate.

*Participation in regional acute paediatric training (RAPT) to maintain acute paediatric skills *Research training, including GCP and clinical trial administration *Participation in clinical governance activities including audits, and other supporting activities as directed by the needs of the service.

Responding and engaging with any complaints or investigations within the trust *Attending statutory, essential and mandatory training. *Attending and keeping up to date with child safeguarding training as per trust requirements
