Well respected Property Management company are looking for a Service Charge Accountant to join the team in their Birmingham office.

This is a varied and interesting role typically involving:

production of residential service charge accounts

- client liaison on accounting matters
- in house liaison with Property Managers
- production of year end certificates and explanation with final accounts
- attending AGM's and other meetings with clients as required
- good understanding of leasehold property accounting
- excellent communication skills
- good literacy and numeracy skills
- knowledge of double entry booking keeping
- knowledge of lease interpretation, apportionment, schedules, balancing and reserve fund compliance
- knowledge of Section 20B legislation

In addition, previous experience in the Residential Property Management field, IRPM or other industry qualifications, and experience with "Tramps" system would be an advantage.
