You will be responsible for the building engineering section including the management of directly employed staff. Act as Authorised Person. You will supervise the Estates Building Maintenance Team ensuring compliance with Trust safety procedures and standards.


Issue work to team members, utilising the maintenance management system, to ensure breakdown and planned maintenance works are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Ensure that the maintenance management system is kept updated and accurately records work to be done and completed works.


You will oversee the delivery of quality standards for all work undertaken by the Service and oversee that the Trust always maintains its estate in accordance with statutory and mandatory requirements.


Oversee the delivery of quality standards for all work undertaken by the Service and the delivery of efficiency standards for all work undertaken by the estates maintenance service.

You will ensure the Operational Maintenance Section work collaboratively with all other Directorates and Departments within the Trust, setting high customer care standards for all work activity.
