    Senior / Lead iOS Developer (SwiftUI)

    Our client is an industry leading Saas organistion and they are seeking someone to come in and take the lead role on the iOS side of things.

    We are seeking a talented and experienced iOS Developer with expertise in SwiftUI and a strong understanding of the release lifecycle.

    Experience with Kotlin / Android Development a nice to have.

    Role:

    As the Lead iOS Developer, you will play the key role in leading the development of their iOS applications, working closely with Apple and their engineering team leveraging your expertise in SwiftUI to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software that meets the needs of their users. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile development, a deep understanding of the iOS platform, and a proven track record of successfully managing the release lifecycle of iOS applications.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Lead the design, development, and implementation of iOS applications using SwiftUI, ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability.
    2. Collaborate with product managers and designers to define project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.
    3. Manage the release lifecycle of iOS applications, including app store submissions, versioning, release notes, and app store optimization (ASO) strategies.
    4. Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in iOS development and SwiftUI, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance our development process.
    5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize features, resolve technical issues, and deliver solutions on time and within budget.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in iOS development, with a strong emphasis on SwiftUI.
    • Experience architecting mobile apps that offer flexible and maintainable build configurations to enable white-labelled apps is desirable.
    • Proficiency in Swift programming language and deep understanding of iOS frameworks and APIs.
    • Experience managing the release lifecycle of iOS applications, including app store submissions, versioning, and app store optimization (ASO).
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of successfully leading development teams and delivering high-quality software solutions.
    • Passion for mobile development and a commitment to staying current with the latest trends and technologies in the field.
