Due to continued growth and success, our Aberdeen based is recruiting for an experienced Checker to join their team on a permanent basis working on a 7 on 7 off basis.

Reporting to the Quayside Operations Manager, this role will co-ordinate and control the safe and efficient loading/offloading of vessels, in accordance with Operations/Shipping plans and in line with all procedures and regulations.

material and utilise transport to ensure vessels are turned around in accordance with Operations/Shipping plans.
~effective use of resources, primarily trucks to reduce double handling.
~ material shipping discrepancies through communication with the shipping team.
~ review procedures, work aids and risk assessments.
~ the correct use of Forklifts and Lifting equipment as set out in legislative and procedural policy.
