Quality Assurance and Compliance Officer

£29,748 - £31,314 to include company car

37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm


We require a strategic thinker, who is organised, self-sufficient, and great at report writing, data analysis and project management to join us as a Quality Assurance and Compliance Officer.


With a good working knowledge of health and housing regulations, you will be passionate about ensuring our services are providing the best quality support to our clients.

Across our services we provide housing related support to young people, homeless families and individuals, people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, people with mental health needs and older people.


You will be responsible for reviewing current service delivery through an internal audit process and assessing quality and service improvements to ensure the Groups aims and objectives are achieved.

You will also be supporting services with their improvement plans through coaching and finding innovative solutions.


The role of Quality Assurance and Compliance Officer will include:

  • Planning and conducting service reviews and audits
  • Evaluating service delivery and improvement activity, recommending improvements to achieve internal and external standards
  • Liaising with working groups to disseminate good practice
  • Preparing reports and presenting information following reviews to support business planning and decision making
  • Supporting business operations in preparation for external service reviews and advising on selfassessment and compliance issues
  • Identifying and mitigating any risks for the Group where identified, even if these do not directly link to the inspection criteria

Skills and experiences:


  • Relevant knowledge and experience at an equivalent level
  • Working knowledge of current health and housing legislation and regulation
  • Proven experience of assessing quality of service delivery and processes
  • Experience writing complex reports
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presenting skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, including Microsoft Project
  • An awareness of the outcome star
  • Travel is a requirement of the role therefore a full valid driving licence is essential as is a willingness to travel nationally
