    Graduate Teaching Assistant, Math Specialist

    Contract Type:
    Full-time, Academic Year

    Rate:
    £85-£95 per day, depending on experience


    Are you a passionate graduate with a strong background in Mathematics? We are currently seeking a dedicated Graduate Math Specialist Teaching Assistant to join the team at a reputable Secondary School located in Barnet.

    This is a full-time position starting in September 2023 for the entire academic year.

    Assist the Math department in delivering high-quality lessons and supporting students in their learning journey.
    Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance in Mathematics.
    Help create and implement engaging and interactive learning activities that cater to students' diverse needs.
    Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a love for Mathematics among students.
    Collaborate with the teaching staff to contribute to the development and improvement of the Math curriculum.
    A bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field (minimum 2:1 classification).
    Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students.
    Previous experience working with secondary school students is desirable but not essential.
    A patient and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help students overcome their challenges.
