THE ROLE
The overall purpose of this job is to manage the planning and reporting activities of the FOE Directorate, ensuring that the teams are aligned to deliver their accountabilities at the right time within the project development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities of the role;
- Coordination of plans across FoE for all opportunities, initiatives and projects
- Management of the governance process to move opportunities through the gateways from business development to innovation and funding to project delivery, ensuring that key members of the team are prepared and scheduled to feed into the project developmentat the right time.
- Reporting on progress of all plans that are progressing opportunities, including collation of performance data and KPIs for the directorate to feed into central reporting.
- Connecting activities that involve different parts of FoE when a coordinated plan is required
- Create and manage transition plans to integrate products and services into the business
- Coordination of all aspects required to move from project to BAU / Operations e.g. IT, Communications, Change Management, Process
- Identifies knowledge gaps and coordinates plans to increase knowledge in all parts of the organisation
- Identifies resourcing requirements and future workforce plan, managing the transition as required
- Create operational plans for the projects as they transition into the core business
- Manage interfaces with key internal stakeholder between FOE projects and core business leaders
