    Description
    Act as an independent practitioner managing a defined caseload of service users within the specialist neuropsychiatric setting

    To work alongside other members of the Neuropsychiatry team to provide a service for Non Epileptic Attack Disorder, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Epilepsy patients.

    To enhance service users recovery and enable self management of symptoms.

    Liaising with Community Mental Health Teams and co-working patients (where appropriate).

    ~ To monitor and evaluate treatment plans for people with Non Epileptic Attack Disorder, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Epilepsy and liaising with multidisciplinary agencies, to ensure an effective care package is delivered.

    ~ Responsible for the promotion of carer and service user involvement within the service and for its provision.

    ~ Responsible for the setting of quality standards, including the monitoring and reviewing in line with current clinical guidance practice and policy.

    ~ Responsible for establishing therapeutic relationships with service users, and the implementation of evidence based therapeutic interventions with appropriate boundaries in accordance with Nursing and Midwifery Councils professional code of conduct.
