An opportunity has arisen for 2 administration officers to join our administration team working within Newcastle Treatment and Recovery (NTaR) in Plummer Court, Newcastle.


It is a very exciting time to join the addictions service, following recent investment to implement the recommendations from the Dame Carol Black Independent Review of Drug Services.

Working alongside its partners (Humankind and Changing Lives), the service covers all drug and alcohol services and is an ageless service.

Under the supervision of an administration team lead and working alongside administration colleagues, the post holder will provide a proactive administration service to the clinical team.

Main Duties
- accurately inputting data into the National Drug Treatment Monitoring System and our electronic patient record system Rio
- responding to queries in relation to data
- producing reports from the data inputted


Working as part of the administration team, the post holder will also carry out tasks including typing of clinical letters, generating prescriptions, minute taking at meetings and general administration duties.

The post holder may be required to cover reception on occasions.

- have experience of working with Microsoft Outlook packages
- have experience of data input and producing reports
- have organisational and planning skills
- have minute taking skills
- have customer care skills
- have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- a good working knowledge of office procedures
