Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bus Telematics Installer to join our team on a contractual basis for a duration of 3 years. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and configuring telematics systems on buses across various locations in the UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to the advancement of transportation technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain telematics systems on buses according to specifications and guidelines.
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality of installed equipment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of installations and adherence to project deadlines.
• Provide training and support to bus operators on the use and maintenance of telematics systems.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and equipment inventory.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in installing and maintaining telematics systems, preferably in the transportation industry.
• Proficiency in reading technical diagrams and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel to different locations within the UK as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with timespace equipment would be advantageous.
