Are you a looking for a local role for a business that offer flexibility and work life balance?
We have an excellent opportunity for a Credit Controller to join an established and professional organisation within a 6-month maternity contract with an opportunity to extend in the future.
This is a hybrid role where you will be in the office at least 2 days per a week and working from home for the rest of the week.

Key responsibilities for the Credit Controller - 6 Month Maternity Contract role:
- To drive down outstanding historical debt whilst ensuring current levels remain within SLA's
- Identification, reconciliation, and clearance of unallocated cash amounts
- To contact individuals or business customers to resolve outstanding payments and reduce outstanding historical debt
- Ensure the administration of credit control correspondence and following up with telephone calls where required
- Processing payments of outstanding monies
- Updating policies with new direct debit mandates
- Produce detailed MI and issue daily, weekly, monthly and YTD
- To actively build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and forge a strong working relationship with the Finance department
For this Credit Controller - 6 Month Maternity Contract
the employer is looking for:
- Proven experience of credit control and debtor management
- Demonstrable experience in reconciling bank accounts
- Competent customer service skills driving service excellence
- Excellent level of numeracy, with a keen eye for attention to detail
- Expert organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
- Competent negotiation skills
- Competent in all Microsoft office packages particularly Excel
