Description

To assist the Central Operations Manager in promoting the profile of the charity in order to maximise the fundraising income.

Assist with central administration as required.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • To be an active, integrated, and cohesive member of the central administration team in order to contribute fully to the delivery of strategic marketing and fundraising objectives.
  • To work with the Central Operations Manager to improve the profile of charity and contribute towards income generation.
  • To work effectively with all people, developing productive relationships with colleagues, volunteers, external partners, and the Board of Trustees.
  • To contribute to the preparation of reports and information for the Central Operations Manager and other leadership team members as required.
  • To represent the organisation as required.
  • To lead on key marketing and income generating activities, projects and events, as required.

Specific Responsibilities:


  • To develop and cultivate positive relationships within local communities across Coventry and Warwickshire.
  • Identify opportunities for marketing, income generation and fundraising.
  • To promote the work of Age UK Coventry & Warwickshire to local community fundraisers and contribute to the development of publicity and marketing materials including assisting with the recruitment process.
  • To develop a database of supporters of the charity and cultivate a long-term relationship between them and the charity.
  • To support the management and use of social media channels.
  • To support managers in their relationships with external organisations.
  • Contribute to monitoring, reporting, and evaluating the performance of all marketing and fundraising activities.
  • Utilise national and local campaigns to celebrate the work of the charity and Marketing & Fundraising Officer JD & PS October 2023 generate income.
  • Contribute towards the development and maintenance of the web site, charitable publications, and materials.
  • Develop a sound understanding of the Fundraising Code and operate within those guidelines.
