The Opportunity


An exciting 12 month fixed term contract vacancy has become available for you to be responsible for leading and providing strategic direction to the sales and origination, development, and corporate services functions and ensuring the overall success of these functions.


You will play a leading role in helping the CEO to develop and communicate the C&I organisation's vision, mission and strategic objectives in addition to helping the CEO to develop a comprehensive business strategy that positions the organisation as a market leader in the C&I solar PV industry.

What you'll be doing
You will act as the CEO's deputy and lead the Leadership Team and wider organisation in the CEO's absence overseeing the sales and origination function, ensuring the right projects are won at the right margins to support the achievement of the organisation's strategic objectives in addition to;

  • Oversee the development of the C&I business, ensuring the right projects achieve financial investment approval and are successfully handed over to construction to support the achievement of the organisation's strategic business growth objectives.
  • Oversee the corporate services function, ensureing corporate services are aligned with the the needs of the business and support the achievment of the organisations strategic objectives.
  • Effectively manage and liaise with key customers, understanding and addressing their needs and fostering longterm relationships.
  • Implement performance metrics and tracking systems to assess the success of operational initiatives and provide regular reports to the C&I Company Board.

Who you are?


You will hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, renewable energy or related field in addition to proven success in senior management roles within the solar industry or related sectors.


  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster a collaborative and highperforming work culture, and experience in mentoring employees for professional growth.
  • Comprehensive industry knowledge, including a deep understanding of the solar PV industry, trends, market dynamics and regulatory landscape.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving business growth through delivery of project to financial investment and achieving wider financial targets.
  • Proficient in implementing streamlined operational processes and project execution, with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Sound financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control, with an emphasis on achieving financial objectives and ensuring longterm stability.
  • Proven ability to address operational challenges creatively and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, government bodies, investors and key customers.
  • A thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
