- Assist in routine testing of the plant and equipment
- Adhere to the H&S process of the plant, reporting any unsafe conditions and hazards to the Shift Supervisor
- Assist with training personnel in roles required
- Monitor the plant via DCS and its process to ensure that the operation aligns with all relevant operating procedures
- Take part in pre-start checks following maintenance work or an outage
- Ideally have a Level 3 (C&G / NVQ) minimum qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
- Ideally have a formal Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH
- Prior background within a Power Production site, this could be CCGT, Coal, Biomass, Energy from Waste, CHP etc
- A solid understanding of health & safety in an engineering environment
- Able to demonstrate excellent written & verbal communication skills
