We are looking to appoint highly motivated, dynamic and inspirational Teaching Assistants to work at one of our schools in South Bristol, supporting learning across the primary age range.

You must have excellent interpersonal skills, be committed to makinga difference to children's lives and have a passion for inclusive education.


We are looking for people who are hard working, a consummate professional and willing to be flexible within the challenges of working in a busy primary school.

You will work as a member of an established team and will contribute to the wider school community. You will need to demonstrate the ability to work with teachers and also work independently to support pupils.


You will also need to take some responsibility for planning and preparing resources where appropriate and in making effective records.


High expectations of children's potential and the ability to make effective relationships with children that enable learning to take place, are essential.

About the School

The school is set in spacious grounds in South Bristol. They have three playgrounds and two areas that are specially set up for Early Years Children.

The school have allotments, climbing and adventure equipment, an arboretum, a secret garden, large playingfields and also their very own cycle track.

With two buildings, there is also have plenty of space inside. They also have an 'Eco Pod' which is a new, fun and exciting space for children to learn in - it even has a slide inside
- have recent experience of working as an Teaching Assistant
- be approachable, organised and an excellent practitioner
- be able to work 32.5 hours per week.
- be able to work inc. 1⁄2 hr lunch break
- be able to work Monday
  • Friday, including 5 INSET days

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
