This is a trainee Gas Tutor post for a qualified and experienced Gas Engineer.

No teaching experience is required for this post and full teacher training and support is provided.

Are you a fully qualified and time served Gas Engineer? Could you be interested in a teaching position? I am currently working with a client based in Plymouth that is looking for a Gas Tutor to teach bespoke commercial and domestic Gas courses.

My client is willing to take on a qualified Gas Engineer with Gas industry experience and support them with teacher training. My client is a successful and well established provider specialising in building services training and boasting excellent facilities.

Curriculum, facilities and lesson planning is provided. You will be using your knowledge and experience to present and demonstrate topics and will be encouraged to share your industry experiences to give real world industry context.

Package and Benefits:-

£33,000 - £35,000 Starting Salary

Full teacher training and qualification provided.

Essential experience and qualifications:-

You must be a fully Qualified Gas Engineer (Oftec & ACS registered)

A minimum of 5 years working as a Gas Engineer in industry. Experience in both Domestic & Commercial would be ideal.

A keen interest to work in education.

Job Description:-

Full Time Hours Monday to Friday.

Permanent Contract.

This position involves teaching learners bespoke commercial and domestic Gas courses in both workshop and classroom environments. Curriculum, facilities and lesson planning is provided. You will be using your knowledge and experience to present and demonstrate topics and will be encouraged to share your industry experiences to give real world context.
