Two new and excellent opportunities have arisen for experienced secretaries/administrators to join an established team comprising, Receptionist, Administrator and 6 Secretaries at our spacious, friendly and welcoming Crawley-Down site.


The role of secretary is a key position in this specialist team providing excellent and efficient administration support to our wider team of Doctors, Therapists, Nurses, Support Staff, Psychologists, Dietitians, and HCA's.

The available days (7) can be split between two applicants. The positions available could be full time or part time, your preference/s can be discussed at interview.


You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to prioritise and adapt to constant demands on the workload as well as to demonstrate the ability to work as a team member.


Duties include typing appointment letters, processing referrals, booking appointments and rooms in Outlook, scanning/uploading of documents, photocopying, occasional Reception cover, minute taking, end of therapy letters and other tasks associated with a secretarial role.


Sussex Partnership Trust provides mental health and learning disability care for children, young people and adults across Sussex and for children and young people in Hampshire.

Sussex Partnership Trust has an extensive training and development program, and you will be supported to use this to develop your potential.


The Sussex Family Eating Disorder Service (SFEDS) provide treatment and support to young people aged diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa, Atypical Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa.


The role of secretary is pivotal in the team helping to provide a friendly welcome to families and our young people to the Clinic.

You will be processing referrals, booking assessment slots, liaising with Colleagues, scanning and uploading documents, photocopying, minute taking, typing letters to GP's, Schools, Employers, and various other administrative tasks associated with the role of Secretary.


You will need to provide evidence of a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including, Word, Excel, Outlook, and be able to type quickly and accurately.

You will need to have a good eye for detail and have good presentation skills.

You will be trained in every aspect of the role including our electronic Patient records system, Carenotes. You will also be trained in electronic document delivery to GP's, Docman, and will access blood test results online.

There may be very occasional Reception cover.
