    NCC Group has an exciting opportunity for a highly driven and ambitious newly-qualified Management Accountant to support our US and EU businesses.

    Being a team player is critical as you will be part of a core Management Accounts Team responsible for preparing the financial results, working closely with different finance colleagues (Reporting, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable) and sales teams.

    This position will have a broad financial focus with study support provided.

    You will also be responsible for the delivery of timely and accurate financial information to the Senior Management Accountant, whilst providing them with assistance as and when required to facilitate the wider financial support for the division.

    Finally, you will be involved in areas such as system implementation and process re-design across both the operational and financial functions.

    As a Management Accountant, you will be focused on:

    Monthly performance
    Management Accounts in the review, investigation and resolution of variances
    Management Accounts in the preparation of the month end reporting pack
    Management Accounts with the weekly Cash flow forecasting
    Support Management Accounts in reporting commentary
    Use and update a variety of systems (including Workday and Hyperion)
    Fixed assets and depreciation accounting
    Support with contract terminations on the system
    Financial control and governance
    Prepare intercompany reconciliations (investigating as necessary) with the rest of the group
    Prepare and obtain approval (investigating as necessary) from the Senior Management Accountant of all balance sheet reconciliations
    Ensure regular reviews of the balance sheet reconciliations take place such as accrued/deferred revenue
    Ensure that all spreadsheets, processes and desktop instructions are fully documented, regularly reviewed, updated and stored centrally
    Support the team with Half year and Year-end Audit.

    Ensure you maintain adequate relations with all related functions across sales, intercompany counterparties and other finance functions including credit control, billing and accounts payable.

    Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA preferred)
    Fully competent with Microsoft Office package, with strong/advanced Excel skills
    Working knowledge of Hyperion and Workday is beneficial but not essential
    Understanding of good financials
