    The Associates are looking for a Senior Automation Tester to join a business in London that is thriving. The business has a very low turnover of staff which is as a result of the varied work as well as the excellent company culture. This Hybris role will see you work in the office for 2 days a week in the SE1 postcode with London Bridge being the closest station. Please check your commute before applying.

    Given the high level of importance placed on company culture the successful Test Engineer will be someone who has a strong team focus but also have the ability to take ownership, work independently and help develop Junior members of staff. The team is current a very positive place to work and we are looking for someone with a similar positive, can do attitude to fit in.

    As the Senior Automation Tester you will be involved in project and BAU work. This will involve maintaining and creating new automation frameworks. Other ad hoc requests can be for loaded performance and therefore we require the successful candidate to be independent in setting up plans for testing and execution.

    It would be a definite advantage is you have previously mentored other staff.

    Must have:

    • Proficiency in .NET C# programming language.THIS IS NOT A JAVA ROLE
    • Sound knowledge/understanding of Object Orientated Programming and good coding principles.
    • Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks, specifically recent versions of Selenium Webdriver and Specflow.
    • Experience of API automation with RestSharp.
    • Excellent understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum.
    • Experience in writing and executing automated test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and isolate defects quickly and efficiently.
    • Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Experience with performance and load testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
    • Ability to create and maintain load and performance test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner.
    • Ability to write and execute test plans and test cases.
    • Strong attention to detail.

    Nice to have:

    • Knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle database technologies.
    • Experience with source code management tools such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial.
    • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Team City, Octopus and Azure DevOps.
    • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
    • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and infrastructure like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
    • Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps Test Plans and Test Rail.
    • Ability to coach and mentor Junior team members.
