ROLE OVERVIEW:


Croud is a digital marketing agency with a unique business model, recently named a Sunday Times Best Place to Work 2023.

We are looking for an
ambitious and aspiring HR/ People professional to add to our growing People team.

The People Team Assistant will play a crucial role in
supporting the smooth functioning of the People Team by undertaking various administrative tasks and providing assistance in key areas such as correspondence, contracts, leaver processes, recruitment, and learning and development initiatives.


Reporting into the Head of Talent Acquisition, this role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, the ability to build positive relationships, and a commitment to upholding company policies and supporting our people.


Croud operates a
hybrid working model with a
minimum of 3 days a week based in our
Shrewsbury office and the remaining days from home if you wish.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Offer administrative support to the recruitment team, which includes scheduling and coordinating interviews, managing bookings, and responding to queries
  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives, including organizing training sessions, tracking employee progress, and ensuring proper documentation
  • Support with the creation and building of business presentations
  • Provide support to the People Operations Team during busy periods, assisting with various tasks and projects to ensure smooth operations within the team
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues and develop a comprehensive understanding of our business, placing our people at the core of all activities
  • Familiarize and adhere to company policies to effectively support our employees and ensure compliance
  • Undertake project work as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in handling additional responsibilities
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with utmost professionalism

PERSON SPECIFICATION:


  • A drive to learn and develop within a HR environment. Commitment to studying towards and completing a CIPD qualification alongside their role
  • Proven time management skills, experience and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Resilient
  • Data Driven
  • Team player and willing to get stuck in to "get the job done"
  • Confident handling enquiries, dealing with a variety of people at all levels
  • Being efficient and proactive, along with a high attention to detail

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 17:30pm, there's flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
