Job Description Principal Engineer – Power Electronics Systems Engineering

Permanent/Full Time
We are looking for an experienced power electronics hardware
Five to ten years' experience is required and preferably some of this will be in automotive.

• Deep experience of Power Electronics ideally including Automotive Inverters
• Knowledge of power electronic devices and how they are integrated into the HV electrical

Experience of specification, development and test of power electronic device such as
Experience of working with teams of engineers designing and testing power electronics

• Lead the capture of requirements and support the development of power electronics

hardware and software traction drive and power conversion systems

• Lead/support the testing of power electronics hardware and software
• Support the development of electrical and electronics architecture for e-drive applications

Lead the System DFMEA and support functional safety analysis

• Ensure compliance with relevant EMC/EMI standards
