Network Security Engineer - Central London - Hybrid

Paloalto - Palo alto - Fortinet - Extreme Networks - Cato - Network - Security - Engineer - Administrator - Network Engineer - Network Administrator - Network Security - Firewall - WAN - LAN - Wireless

This role offers hybrid working (2/3 days in the office) and you will be joining a team of 4 Network Engineers with 30 people based in the overall department.

As the successful Network Security Engineer you will be responsible for designing and deploying functional and secure networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).

You will monitor network and performance integrity and troubleshoot infrastructure issues whist ensuring youfully understand the scope, risks and activities of project tasks allocated to yourself.

You will be working with the delivery team to ensure that all key documentation is fully updated both during and on completion of all instillations.

Key Skills the Network Security Engineer will have:

2/3 years Networking and Security experience
Extensive knowledge using Palo Alto, Fortinet, Extreme networks, Cato
Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux or Windows
Proficient with network security technologies and protocols
A Network Certification (CCIE, CCNA, CCNP) (desirable)
Fortigate Certification (NSE) and Palo Alto Certifications are desirable
