Description
We are Derwent FM, and provide a range of facilities management services predominantly in the Student Sector.We have an on-site operating model with 20 site managers and circa 250 colleagues based around the UK and Ireland.
Our target model is a community-basedapproach involving local neighbourhoods, suppliers and providing facilities management a rounded pastoral support package to students.

As Assistant Account to you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of meaningful, accurate and timely monthly management accounts, with clear commentary and variance analysis whilst identifying underlying performance and any risks and opportunities.
You will assist with the productions of monthly site and company management accounts and will assist with the preparation of external client management accounts and budgets.

Moreabout you
Ideally you will have previous experience of working within a finance team and will studying towards a professional accounting qualification (CCAB)
You will have strong Excel skills as well as good knowledge of IT and finance systems.
You will have the ability to engage with non-finance colleagues and will be able to relay complicated information in an understandable manner.
