    Style Acre is highly respected as an innovative organisation in the field of learning disability, employing 400 people and delighted to be rated as Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission.

    The Director of Operations is a key member of the Style Acre Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for delivering high quality services to people in our supported living and day opportunity services.

    To be the Registered manager with CQC for our supported living services (Domicilliary Care).
    To ensure compliance with relevant contracts, to act as Style Acre's representative where appropriate.

    To have oversight of our quality audit process and ensure audits and reviews have taken place as expected and are responded to appropriately.

    To ensure the review and proper application of Style Acre's policies and standards.
    To ensure services are delivered in accordance with appropriate risk assessments, complying with regulatory, statutory and contractual requirements.
    To ensure compliance to Health and Safety requirements
    Extensive experience at middle / senior management level in the social care sector.
    Experience of leading and delivering strategic change and complex projects.
    Working with people with learning disabilities.
    Experience of working with Local Authority Commissioners, families and circles of support.

    The ability to communicate effectively at all levels (both orally and in writing) and to build effective working relationships internally and externally.

    Networking, influencing and negotiation skills.
    Financial and commercial acumen and ability to work with complex budgets.
    Project management skills and experience to deliver projects on time and within budget.
    Understanding of the requirements of the Care Quality Commission.

    To work flexibly according to the charity's requirements and be willing to work across the charity, attend meetings which may require occasional weekend working.
