Production Manager Permanent
Salary - very competitive - dependent on experience

Based within Coleshill, Birmingham

Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week 8am -4pm

Purpose of the Production Manager Position


The production manager will be a key leader and team player responsible for providing leadership and direction for the clients Air Separation Unit based in Coleshill.

Reporting directly to and deputising for the Plant Manager.


Duties for the Production Manager

  • Managing the daily operation of the Coleshill Air Separation Unit to ensure lowest cost product, considering inventory requirements energy price forecasts, plant efficiency and resources available.
  • Driving operational discipline and safety within the team of supervisors
  • Assisting plant manager in the management and alignment of regulatory, subsidiary policies, systems, processes, and objectives
  • Partnering with the Maintenance Manager to ensure Preventative Maintenance tasks are scheduled and completed on time and developing scope for major turnarounds.
  • Implementing Management system ISO9001, ISO14001 system to the team
  • SIO project setup and implementation
  • SIO "Smart Innovative Operation"

Key Qualities

  • Bachelor, Technical degree, or Engineering degree (Chemical or Mechanical preferred) for large facilities.
  • Previous experience held within an industrial operation environment
  • Strong experience of health and safety issues and regulations
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
