Overview:

We are seeking a
Learning Support Assitant to join our team. The learning support assistant will work with individuals with autism and provide assistance in various areas. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.


Responsibilites:


  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with autism
  • Help educate and engage individuals in various activities
  • Assist with toddler care, including feeding, changing nappies and playtime
  • Implement strategies and techniques from special education programs
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and team members
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all individuals

Qualifications:


  • Experience working with children, especially those with autism or special needs
  • Knowledge of special education principles and techniques
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with autism
  • Ability to adapt to different situations and handle challenging behaviors

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent


Pay:
£65.00-£75.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:


  • Special education: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
