Working Shifts: 4days on (2 days 7am - 7pm / 2 days 7pm - 7am), 4 days off
Gi Group is representing a permanent Machine Operative vacancy for a Manufacturing company based in Loughborough.

This company is looking for someone who has experience working with different Machines and Hand Tools within plastic, woodwork or metal industry.

This role will be suitable for someone who is ambitious and excited to learn other skills such as FLT driving and reading technical drawings.

4 on 4 off shifts (2 days 7am 7pm and 2 days 7pm 7am)

Job duties:

The efficient and safe running of plastic extrusion and compounding machines blending machine operation and manual tasks.
The fabrication of drainage products using various power tools (extrusion welding guns, jigsaws, grinders etc) involving some manual handling and work at height.
Achieve set targets to meet daily production output.
To ensure all health and safety requirements are always adhered to.
Experience working with different materials such as plastic, metal, woodwork
Experience using hand tools such as jigsaw, grinder
Willingness to learn and develop within the industry
