An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, talented Teacher of Physical Education to join our team. Thesuccessful candidate will have a firm commitment to raising whole-school achievement; have a professional approach to staff development; high expectations; and a determination to succeed. The P.E. department is forward thinking, friendly and supportive. They are passionate about academic excellence, collaboration and delivering high quality teaching for every student. The department has an established record of excellent results with progress being above national. The post will involve teaching PE at KS3 and KS4 with the possibility of KS5 teaching for a suitably qualified candidate.
There is also the opportunity to apply for a Head of House pastoral role. The successful candidate for this role will have a firm commitment to providing a co-operative, comprehensive, inclusive, proactive and responsive pastoral system, which allows barriers to learning to be reduced and outcomes maximised. The successful candidate will provide an approach and atmosphere in which all agencies and staff (internal and external) provide support, work together effectively for the common good of students and the School. The successful candidate will ensure all students have a sense of being supported, cared for and belonging to the School.
