    Description

    Then there may be a position for you as an Exterior Aircraft Wash Operator.


    Exterior Aircraft Wash Operators are responsible for keeping the paintwork on our customers aircraft looking like the day it came out of the paint shop.

    Using high access equipment and working at height to hand wash the outside of the aircraft.

    Pay Rate:
    £13.00 per hour (Increasing after probation)

    Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off

    Shift times: 6pm - 6am


    Reporting to:
    Aircraft Wash Team Leader

    A UK Manual Drivers License is essential for this position


    Duties Include:
    Operating heigh access equipment (MEWP)
    Mixing and handling wash chemicals
    Using both dry and wet wash techniques to clean the paintwork on aircraft
    Operating high pressure water equipment
    Technical washing of aircraft mechanical component

    Additional Duties:


    From time to time will be expected to carry out duties as and when requested by your manager in support of company initiatives related to the services offered by the company.

    Attention to detail in the quality of your work
    Ability to operate equipment such as hoovers, aircraft doors and ground service equipment (GSE)
    Full driving license desirable

    Requirements:
    Due to the work being airside at the airport, you must be able to meet the security criteria to obtain a full airside pass:

    Valid photo ID (UK Passport/ EU Passport & Sharecode/ Non-EU Passport and Visa)
    Provide 5year reference history (employment, education, benefits, gap references)
    Provide 5year UK address history
    Provide proof of address
    Provide proof of NI
    Be willing to have a criminal record check obtained
