- Lead and complete planning applications, ensuring thorough adherence to all statutory steps and requirements.
- Build and maintain influential relationships with key stakeholders, emphasising the importance of collaboration in every endeavour.
- Guide and review outputs from specialist consultants, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget.
- Provide valuable planning advice to internal teams, supporting both ongoing and new developmental initiatives.
- Stay updated on third-party proposals and local development plan changes, positioning the company for effective strategic responses.
- Ensure all planning activities and ventures strictly comply with relevant statutory regulations and guidelines.
- A background with 1-5 years as a Planning Officer or in a similar, with experience in complex commercial developments
- An accreditation from the RTPI or similar would be a considerable advantage.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel regionally on an ad-hoc basis
