    IT Service Manager | ITIL | FinTech Software Company

    • Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 with a 15% bonus
    • Hybrid: 1-2 days in the office with flexible arrangements

    I am seeking a seasoned IT Service Manager to join a prestigious FinTech company that delivers SaaS products offering real-time market feeds and pricing information, comparable with platforms like Bloomberg and Reuters. With around 800 employees globally and headquartered in London, the company is at the forefront of financial technology.

    Role: The IT Service Manager will come in to understand the current structure and implement your own recommendations to establish a new function and take sole ownership of it. The client needs someone who knows what "good" looks like from a service and ITIL perspective as you will be the sole person in this function. This position reports directly to the Head of IT and Delivery and key stakeholders are the IT service providers and the Infrastructure Lead. It's a great greenfield project to get stuck into

    Key responsibilities and projects:

    • Understand the current service structure (which is a minimal viable service) and implement your recommendations, improvements, and ways of work.
    • Build and take sole ownership of a new and robust service function (ITIL).
    • Oversee existing MSP and key suppliers and manage technical service agreements and SLAs.
    • Provision and manage suppliers and applications in your newly created environment.
    • Lead the implementation of IT service management tools, going from ServiceNow to include Jira, in collaboration with the MSP.
    • 3 M&A projects are in the pipeline so you will have to transfer the ITIL frameworks of these companies into the "master" framework.
    • Assist in completing the IT separation currently underway from the parent company.

    About You:

    • Extensive experience as an IT Service Manager in a global, fast-paced environment. It is essential to be able to act as the sole SME in the service and ITIL space.
    • ITIL Certifications expected.
    • Strong leadership capabilities, able to influence senior management and think strategically.
    • Commercial acumen with suppliers and the ability to make supplier decisions independently.
    • Autonomous and self-driven: A quarterly meeting will be held with your manager to look over the service implementation but you would be expected to act independently at most.

    Interview process:

    • Initial brief call with TA/HR.
    • Teams interview with the hiring manager, focused on project delivery examples.
    • Final Teams interview with one or two of the exec members (CIO, COO, CEO).
