Job description
Full Time / 37 Hours Per Week / Permanent
Play a key role in developing a high quality, inclusive transport, and planning infrastructure in Leicester.
We are small team of Transport Planners and Highway Adoption Engineers, who are involved in a wide range of planning and regeneration led projects including strategic and cross boundary themes.
Using the benchmarks of Leicester Street Design Guide, we aim to enable high quality developments through a collaborative working process.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday. Hybrid - working from home and at City Hall. It is expected that you'll undertake site visits across the city and attend meetings citywide and beyond as necessary.What you'll be doing
What you'll need
Talented and creative, you'll have high level of experience in highways, planning or transportation with knowledge of local government procedures.
- motivated, you'll be driven to deliver on high value Planning Authority related projects and overcome complex issues. Using strong analytical skills, you'll be able to analyse digitally presented plans and understand traffic modelling output. With effective verbal and written communication skills, you'll be able to write and present complex reports, negotiate with stakeholders and work effectively with partners. Highly organised, self-motivated, and decisive, you'll ensure all objectives are delivered within timescales and compliant with current legislation and local standards.
