We are looking for a
Project Co-ordinator to join our
Digital & Enabling team in the
IT & Transformation function.

This is a brilliant opportunity to oversee the delivery of small change initiatives to assist business units and other stakeholders in delivering high quality outcomes with appropriate governance and oversight.

You'll join a likeminded team in our Leeds based function (but with working from home capability).


About the role


As
Project Co-ordinator, you'll be accountable for the end to end delivery of a variety of small change initiatives from inception to delivery, as well as key change governance and assurance activity.

This could result in you being assigned to (for example but not limited to) stand-alone small projects, an aggregated collection of related small changes or a small project as part of a larger programme of work.

You will be responsible for

  • Providing administrative control and oversight of project cost and resources, and supporting key processes such as Month End and Business Case submissions
  • Supporting the Change Lifecycle as directed, this could include for example analysis and documentation of requirements, assisting with the development of procurement 'Requests for Information/Proposal' processes where thirdparty engagement is required or supporting Project implementation activities
  • Liaising with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure full and appropriate engagement such as Information Risk, Enterprise Architecture, Risk, ITSD, and wider business units within YBS, and a range of 3rd parties as required by the initiative
  • Planning steering and meeting activities, including chairing/ administering meetings and producing the supporting content and developing and maintaining project plans and all associated Risk, Issue, Assumption and Dependency reporting
  • Providing general consultancy to support business stakeholders through the change process and other aspects of the Change Lifecycle
  • Ensuring that risk and compliance needs are met throughout the lifecycle of small change initiatives by engaging appropriate teams, ensuring documentation is provided as required and tracking/ escalating risks and issues
  • Adherence to the appropriate governance processes for small change initiatives, including participation in a feedback loop to ensure governance is improved over time to support nimble delivery of change

About you
You'll be experienced at working in a Change environment, and ideally hold Prince2, APM or an equivalent Foundation certification. In addition, you will have

  • Good understanding of, and exposure to, the general principles of project management and change delivery
  • Flexibility, and the confidence and capability to tackle new tasks in sometimes unfamiliar areas, including new technologies
  • Either excellent knowledge of one or more business areas within YBS or the Finance sector generally; and/ or good knowledge of Change and project approaches and methodologies
