About the Role:

The Finance Manager will be responsible for the management and internal control for the relevant business and representation at local and monthly management meetings. Aside from the Finance Manager, there are supporting Finance Staff working in the business and part of the Finance Manager's brief is to utilise these support staff to gain an understanding of the business assets and liabilities in order to present the financial information to senior management in a timely fashion.

The Finance Manager, while reporting to the Head of Finance GB&I, is also a member of the Management Team necessitating a close working relationship with the Managing Director, Operations and Commercial Directors/Managers. Your role will include ensuring these key members of the management team are both appropriately supported and challenged on an ongoing basis by you.

This role is a 6 month fixed term contract

What we are looking for:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or similar qualification.
• 4+ years experience in an accountant role with desirable experience within manufacturing.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload. Developed problem solving skills, including the ability to manage conflicting work demands.
• Capacity to work independently with limited supervision.
• Be able to undertake a continuous review of procedures.
• Highly organised with good planning and time-management skills
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal with good presentation and interpersonal skills.
