CNC Machinist - Liverpool
£23,000 - £28,000 per annum - depending on experience + annual bonuses + 33 days holiday + Death in Service + Pension + Cycle to work Scheme
Monday to Friday - Days am - 5.00pm M-F), opportunities for overtime

The opportunity:

An exciting opportunity for a skilled CNC mechanical operator to join a well-established company, who specialise in design and manufacture for a range of industries.

The work will be varied, often requiring the manufacturing of many different products, dependingon customer needs.

Job description:

Main duties and responsibilities:
Your routine duties may vary, but will be expected to:

Machine / manufacture components as specified
Work to deadlines, ensuring that jobs are progressed at the required rate
Use measuring equipment, such as micrometres and screw gauges
Setting a range of Five Axis and Three Axis machines
Show good understanding of mechanical / component drawings
Clean and maintain machining centres, carrying out maintenance as required
Maintain high levels of Health & Safety standards
Commute to the site in Liverpool on a daily basis
Maintain a positive working environment

Skills and experience:

CNC Setting and Operation: 3 years (preferred)
NVQ: Level 3 / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent (required)
CNC Programming: 1 year (preferred)
Minimum 2+ years experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment
Good communication skills
Resilience ability to work towards demanding deadlines
Be consistent, credible, and reliable. Have the courage to be honest
