St Joseph's Hospice in Hackney is one of the largest hospices in the UK.

We are a prestigious independent Catholic charity dedicated to providing high quality specialist palliative care and support to people nearing the end of their lives, and to their loved ones, irrespective of faith, no faith and background.

St Joseph's services include in-patient, out-patient, day care, respite care, advice and support in the individual's home or care home, and bereavement support.

We are looking for a dynamic Chief Executive who can lead the organisation going forward through our next phase of development, as we respond to greater demands in our communities, and we modify services further to respond to the changing demands of our patient population and our commissioners.

Demonstrable relevant employment gained working in a CEO or senior management capacity in a charity, health or public sector organisation.

Evidence of management experience at a senior level including financial clear sightedness.
Sound commercial acumen demonstrated in a senior decision making capacity.
Experience of leading change management / Service Development projects.
