As Airline Training Manager you will provides technical expertise & development support to the training teams.Ensuring all (employed and contracted) instructors and examiners are delivering training in line with the regulatory requirements and L3Harris standards.
You will support the Head of Training and Chief Flight Instructor to ensure all instructor/examiner delivery meets regulatory requirements and content development keeps ahead of all regulatory changes.
You will lead the team in the transition to Competence Based Training Assessment (CBTA) and Evidence Based Training (EBT) and establish and maintain effective working internal cross function relationships and external engagement with Airline clients, the appropriate authorities and 3rd party agenciesA few of our employee benefits are:25 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays), increasing with long service and with the opportunity to buy/sell up to 5 days

What the role will involve:
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
Oversight of all regulatory changes and establishing good relations with the instructor community
Input to the maintenance of the L3Harris Operations Manual
Part D
Supports development of all instructor/examiner courses, including the obtaining relevant approvals from the appropriate authority
Establish an effective working relationship with the Head of Training Delivery
What youll bring:
Hold or have held an EASA / UKCAA issued Airline Transport Pilots Licence
Hold a current SFI authorization or TRI rating on A320 or B737
Hold a current SFE authorization or TRE rating on A320 or B737
Hold a current SE authorization (Preferable not essential)
EASA / UKCAA Qualified airline pilot with instructor and examiner ratings/authorisations
Good understanding of regulatory structures pertinent to the regulation of civil aviation
Good understanding of international principles and practice pertinent to civil aviation flight training (Including CBTA / EBT)
Ability to work within non-EASA regulatory frameworks e.g. non-EU aviation regulators etc
