    Secretary / Administrator, Court of Protection
    Salary £23,000 - £27,000 (Based on experience)
    CENTRAL BRISTOL OFFICE / 100% OFFICE BASED

    The Company:

This is a superb role that would suit an organised, focused individual who takes pride in their work, and enjoys a busy role. This role is approximately 50% audio typing and 50% secretarial support.

    The Job:
    Working in our clients busy Court of Protection team based in Central Bristol you will provide a first-class legal secretarial / administrative service. You will need to be an accurate typist. You will also be required to speak to clients to keep them appraised of progress, undertake audio typing, draft documents, perform detailed diary management, manage matters on our case management system – from opening a matter to final billing as well as keeping databases updated. Experience in the use of MS Office to include Word and Excel will be essential.

    Key Responsibilities
    General secretarial duties such as preparation of correspondence, dealing with incoming and outgoing post, filing, photocopying, printing, drafting documents, performing detailed diary management
    Accurate touch-typing with experience of audio typing and word processing
    Communicating with clients over the phone and over email to keep them appraised of progress
    Managing matters on case management system from opening a matter to final billing as well as keeping databases updated

    The Person:
    Previous secretarial experience or a recent law graduate with some legal work experience
    Highly accurate touch typist
    Experience in the use of Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel will be essential
    An organised, positive individual with a can-do attitude that is able to multitask

    The Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm
