    Interim Finance Manager

    Up to £550/day (Outside IR35)

    Partner Financial are working with a global media business in Birmingham who are seeking the support within their Finance team with detailed analysis, management information and statutory accounts.

    This Interim Finance Manager role will be a key role in transitioning the business to become more mature in its finance processes and controls and are looking for someone to actively develop, advise and improve those frameworks within the various streams of work, where possible.

    This role will work closely with the Financial Controller and sometimes the CFO in delivering key financial data and reporting to support overall business decision making, transparency and effectiveness.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Owning month end close process, ensuring information is timely and accurately submitted with related analysis
    • Preparing VAT returns and other tax/regulatory filings and annual returns for the UK entities
    • Partnering with key stakeholders to understand the business needs and developing a reporting framework
    • Preparing the business KPIs and producing data and business analysis
    • Preparing the annual budgets and reforecasts
    • Liaising with the auditors and producing statutory accounts under IFRS
    • Supporting the business with the implementation of new systems and processes
    • Ad-hoc projects in relations to Controls and Process at both a transactional level and high-level insight delivery.

    The Successful Candidate will be:

    • Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
    • A desire to join a fast-growing business
    • Working knowledge of US GAAP and experience within media, highly advantageous
    • An inquisitive mind-set where you continuously seek process improvement
    • A natural ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel and PowerPoint
