A highly reputable client of ours is currently looking to recruit a Finance Reporting Manager based within the Peterborough Area

A formal accountancy qualification is desirable but not essential.

Job Purpose:
To accurately prepare the management and financial accounts for the European region and prepare group reporting.
Advise and liaise with finance staff, other departments' managers and colleagues, other Schenck Process Group (SPG) sitesand functions, Board of Directors and external advisers.

Main Duties:

- You will process and assist in the effective preparation of the monthly UK, NL and France management accounts, including reporting to SPG

- You will oversee and control overhead reporting for the non-manufacturing areas of the business

- Ensure balance sheet accuracy, including maintenance of adequate prevent and detect controls

- Be a focal point for all liaison for the group mgt and stat accounts with stakeholders

- Provide financial analysis to aid decision making for the region

- Ensure order take, invoicing and cash forecasting is accurate at the subsidiary and group level

- Deal with various admin and reporting for company statistics, statutory accounts, SHE and other related items

- Lead financial duties for satellite locations (currently NL and France)

- Organised, with high level of attention to detail, but with an ability to see the wider picture

- Good time management skills; able to prioritise, but achieve agreed deadlines

- High level of personal and professional integrity

- Strong numeric and analytical skills

- Good communication skills

- PC/ERP skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

- A mindset to improve processes to make continuous improvements in automation, efficiency and accuracy

- Able to build relationships with colleagues both within and outside of finance

- Experience of working in an International reporting environment

- Detailed knowledge of procedures relating to finance, preferably in a multi-jurisdiction and projects based company

- Knowledge of group management and financial accounting (IFRS)

- Past experience with Epicor is helpful but not required
