    KS1 or KS2 Class Teacher - Winslow Church of England School

    Term time only:
    Contract type: Temporary/Permanent (maternity cover with a view to permanent)

    Winslow Church of England School is a popular two form entry primary school in the centre of Winslow although we also welcome children from surrounding villages.

    We aim for nothing short of outstanding outcomes for all pupils, whilst concentrating on the individual, encouraging and nurturing personal interests and giving the time to discover individual gifts.

    We aim to create a learning environment and establish a love of learning so that pupils gain an enthusiasm for learning that remains throughout life.

    Our school community is very welcoming and friendly, staff are exceptionally supportive both to each other and our pupils.

    We have a large outdoor space which we use for games and PE and also have a well-stocked library that helps encourage a love of reading.

    We are looking to recruit a KS1 or KS2, full time class teacher from September.

    Be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class, ensuring the highest possible standards in work and behaviour and providing equality of opportunity for all.


    • Observe, assess, monitor and record the progress and attainment of all pupils in the class.
    • Set homework and plan other out-of-class activities to consolidate and extend the knowledge and understanding pupils have acquired as appropriate.
    • Foster excellent relationships and encourage the involvement and support of parents, governors, community and other agencies
