Full or Part Time flexible hours, salary up to £60k, relocation up to £5k, friendly, welcoming team.

We have a wonderful, friendly, longstanding team at Vets for Pets Perth and due to a valued member of our Vet team leaving for their dream job, we are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join us, on a full-time or part time permanent basis.

We hold regular team meetings and 1:1s to make sure all team members get the chance to impact 'how we do things,' and to give the opportunity to focus on development, both individual and how we move forward as a practice. Currently, we are working towards becoming an RCVS accredited, ISFM cat friendly and RWAF rabbit friendly practice and are starting to work towards a sustainability accreditation.
There is a good mix of surgery and consultations, with regular set aside catch-up time.

We offer full or part time hours and are happy to discuss a rota that is flexible to your commitments, whether that be weekend only, childcare friendly, full or half days or whatever you require to achieve the work life balance you need.

We are open 8:30am to 7pm weekdays, 9am to 5pm Saturdays and 10am to 4pm Sundays with a current 1 in 2 weekend rota which will extend to 1 in 3.

Your workload will be 100% small animal and some exotics and will include a range of first opinion consultations, medical work-ups and surgery.

Standard 15-30 minute appointments are made for all small animal medical cases. Ideally you will feel comfortable with routine consults and surgery and confident working occasional sole charge.

Perth is a lovely city, surrounded by fantastic scenery and steeped in rich history, with easy access to buses, train stations and motorway.

Salary: 31,000- £60,000, (pro rate, depending on experience)

Holiday entitlement: 5.6 weeks holiday increasing to 6.6 following 2 year's service plus Birthday off (or time of in lieu depending on rota)
