    Executive Assistant

    A fantastic and rare opportunity to join a well-established and energetic property company, based in Manchester City Centre. Hurstwood Holdings is a long-established property investment and development group currently with over £350m of commercial and residential property on 150 sites nationwide housing over 1000 occupier clients, and our priority is both the letting of our vacant space and retention of existing occupiers. We have a proactive and highly experienced team of property professionals who make it their business to understand the property market inside-out.

    We are now looking to recruit an Executive Assistant to the Operations Director to join our busy head office team. This is a full time position, which requires an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to assist with the management and care of head office, as well as serving as support to the Operations Director. In addition, support may be sought from the Chairman and other Directors of the business.

    · Answering the phones and welcoming visitors to the office

    · Ensuring the smooth day to day care of the office

    · Office management items as delegated from the Operations Director

    · Ensuring the office and boardroom facility is kept clean, tidy and in a presentable

    · Liaising with all the team to support them

    · Managing vehicle and fleet documents, ensuring key dates are adhered to

    · Managing receipts for company cards

    · Keeping the first aid boxes fully stocked

    · Filing

    · Diary management

    · Open, distribute and send post

    · General admin and ad hoc tasks such as copying, scanning, binding, laminating for site and office

    · Reporting directly to the Operations Director

    The ideal candidate for the role will possess the following experience and traits;

    · Friendly and enthusiastic

    · Reliable and very well organised

    · Excellent telephone manner

    · A proactive self-starter

    · Experience of working within an office environment for 3+ years is essential

    · Long experience working within an office environment and supporting key decision makers and directors.

    · Excellent communication skills to build relationships with suppliers

    · Previous experience with Xero (or similar accounting software)

    · Strong IT and Microsoft Excel skills

    · Experience within a similar property company is beneficial, but not essential.

    · We would like the successful candidate to take real pride in ensuring the best presentability and coordination of the office at all times.
