We are recruiting for a Forensic Administrator to join a Police team based in Kidlington.

The role

Provide administrative support within the Forensic Investigation Unit (FIU) ensuring the integrity and continuity of forensic/biometric evidence and presenting a professional interface between FIU and its customers in support of the organisational requirementto bring offenders to justice.

Skills and experience required

You will need to have good attention to detail and be able to accurately record and handle information in line with force policy and procedure, as the role requires you to catalogue and process forensic exhibits for submission, destruction or archiving.

You will also to have a good level of IT skills although basic training on the use of relevant police systems will be given.

No forensic background is required, however experience of working in a police environment would be advantageous

To be considered you will also need to hold a valid driving licence and be prepared to travel to various police locations as required.

Full Time role with an initial pay rate of
£12.18 per hour (PAYE).
