    Assembly Technician (Detector Products)

    £28, Days Holiday plus Bank + Ongoing Training + 12:30pm Finish Friday + Leadership Programme

    Croydon

    Are you an assembly technician or similar looking for a role within an exciting, growing company that offers expert training, multiple progression paths and an interesting variety of hands on technical work?

    Do you want to work for a well-established, global company, who offer a 360 service, from design to manufacture and marketing, where you will have a high degree of responsibility and autonomy within your role, as an integral part of the Engineering team?

    The company are a successful and longstanding manufacturer, covering the nuclear, defence and aerospace markets, specialising in detector equipment. With continued expansion and growth arises an opportunity for a new Assembly Technician to join the team.

    This role would suit an Assembly Technician or similar who is looking for a varied role with full training, within a tight-knit company who are known for looking after their employees in a role where you will be working in the production and assembly of bespoke gas filled detectors.

    The role:

    • Assembling gas detector products
    • Maintaining all client documentation
    • Participating in client visits and on site testing
    • Key focus on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing

    The person:

    • Experience in precision mechanical assembly / fitting
    • Experience working with hazardous materials
