Application Support Developer - London, United Kingdom - Kantar

    Default job background
    Description
    Job Description

We're the world's leading data, insights, and consulting company; we shape the brands of tomorrow by better understanding people everywhere.

Worldpanel provides brands and retailers with a unique, 360-degree understanding of consumer behaviour across the globe. We are shopper-centric, continuously monitoring the purchase and usage behaviour through the largest omnipanel in the world. With unparalleled datasets, pioneering technology and expert analysts, we partner with brands and retailers of all sizes, empowering them to reimagine what's possible, and change the landscape to create a better, healthier, more sustainable and inclusive world.

    Why this job is important

The Shop and Scan Purchase Panel is Worldpanel UK's largest panel and has been running for 30 years providing industry-leading data through the continuous collection of shopping trips with each of the 30,000 households that are on the panel scanning barcodes on all products purchased in each trip.

The Senior Application Support Developer will join a small but critically important team as the stack they support grows and develops to support both the redevelopment of the Shop And Scan website and the roll-out of the strategically important MyWorldpanel* platform.

We're looking for a flexible, thorough individual, comfortable with supporting the current (and future) database production process as well as championing new developments and approaches relating to the ongoing project on the redevelopment of our Shop and Scan website.

Responsibilities will also include BAU support and development of multiple bespoke internally developed applications, liaising directly with the Operations team on support and development matters, and collaborating with the wider System Support application team. If you're willing to go beyond the obvious, using intelligence, passion, and creativity to inspire new thinking and shape the world we live in, apply for a career that'll be out of the ordinary and join us

*MyWorldPanel is a Kantar cloud-based platform, currently being deployed worldwide, to provide the most intuitive and efficient way to analyse our shopper behaviour's data.
