Job description


The Ecommerce Warehouse Lead plays a vital role in supporting Scope to generate income to help disabled people and their families.

The role is responsible for managing the day-to-day running of Scope's new Ecommerce Hub. Ensuring that stock is handled in the most efficient and safe way. And the team meet stock processing targets.


Salary:
Starting salary of £24,619 with progression as we train you.


Location:
Scope's Ecommerce Hub - Westlink Business Park, Salford


Permanent - 35 hours per week.

The hub operates from 8am - 8pm, Monday to Sunday. Shifts are between 4-7 hours daily.

Some evening, weekend and Bank Holiday working will be required in line with Ecommerce Hub operating hours.

The role
Responsibilities include managing a team of Ecommerce Warehouse Assistants to ensure stock processing targets are met. Plus driving a high level of housekeeping within the Ecommerce Hub, acting immediately on hazards and unsafe practices.


About you

You will have:

  • The ability to and experience of motivating and managing a team to deliver results.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team is essential.
  • A high level of physical fitness is essential due to the manual handling of stock.
  • We are looking for colleagues to fill evening, weekend and bank holiday shifts.
  • We ask you to show an appreciation of Scope's values and our ambition of everyday equality for disabled people.
  • This role may involve working with Volunteer team members and will therefore require a DBS check.
